Michi-no-Eki

Have you ever wanted to buy local food or souvenirs when traveling in Japan?
You can get them all in one place – at a Michi-no-Eki (Roadside station).
They are usually located in rural areas, and you can visit them for free since they are on regular roads, not  highways.
Each station offers many things such as local vegetables,  meat, snacks and various souvenirs – ofte made with ingredients produced nearby.
You can also enjoy sweets made from local specialties.

I highly recommend visiting a Michi-no-Eki to make special memories of your trip.
